This philosophy teaches humans who tend to see things from a visual perspective without knowing more deeply that we should not compare ourselves with others, while not knowing the whole truth of their story. Always be grateful and do good. This will open up opportunities to reflect, empathize, and place oneself with others. This philosophy was acquired by designer Gie Sanjaya while studying Javanese philosophy, through a personal spiritual journey. As a form of self-reflection as well as a medium to spread messages in the form of works, the “Wang Sinawang” brand was created.

Every collection of Wang Sinawang always embeds the philosophy that exists in the land of the Indonesian Archipelago. Through works in the form of products from “Wang Sinawang” the designer wants to invite consumers to give deeper meaning to the philosophy of each collection. Some of the materials used are waste from bones, horns (cow/buffalo), pearl shells, and wood. Other materials used for complement are silver, brass, natural stone, and resin.
