Nusantara is the name for the entire territory of the Indonesian Archipelago. The root of the name Nusantara comes from the Sanskrit language, namely the word nusa which means island and between which means outside or across. in 1336. The islands united by the sea show that the Indonesian nation is a maritime country. So the archipelago is a concept of unity that is willing to accommodate pluralism. Through research, designers will dig deeper into the philosophy of various islands in the region from Sabang to Merauke. The results of this research will be used as inspiration in the product ‘wang sinawang’.
